OUR ITINERARIES
DISCOVER FLY FISHING IN UNITED KINGDOM
For our Italian friends and guests wishing to go fly fishing in the United Kingdom, the homeland of fly fishing, we can provide recommendations and access to the top “Trout and Salmon rivers”.
Whatever your level of experience and skills, we would be delighted to provide advice on how to organise your time and information on the most important rivers and streams waters. In this way you’ll be able to keep track of your angling adventures in your diary dedicated to the truest British tradition.
The fishing seasons and when you can expect the best catches
Although the dates may change, you can fish for trout between 1 April and 15 October and Grayling until 15 October. The best time for catching Brown Trout is generally between October and mid-March, so between autumn and winter.
Fans of the classic “Dry Fly” should bear in mind that springtime, between April and more or less the end of June is a recommended period as well as between September and November.
Fishing with us throughout the United Kingdom
We partner with and have exchanges with qualified fishing guides and instructors with expert knowledge of their local territory; they work throughout the United Kingdom on a range of rivers which run the gamut from the classic Chalk Streams, amongst the most famous of which are the Itchen, the River Test, the Avon and Kennet, to particular Limestone Rivers: River Wharfe, Aire and Ure in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, as well as the famous rivers and lochs in Scotland.
Fly hatches generally occur in spring and autumn.
Otherwise, or during “No Flies Hatching” periods, nymph fishing remains the best solution and is no less satisfying.
